2 Unlimited

2 Unlimited is a Belgian-Dutch eurodance group founded in 1991 by Belgian producers Jean-Paul De Coster and Phil Wilde. It originally featured rapper Ray Slijngaard and singer Anita Doth, both from the Netherlands.

The group quickly gained international success with their debut single “Get Ready for This,” which became a sports and club anthem worldwide. In 1993, their track “No Limit” catapulted them to the top of the charts, reaching number one in numerous European countries.

This success was followed by other hit singles like “Twilight Zone,” “Tribal Dance,” and “Let the Beat Control Your Body,” further solidifying their reputation. With their high-energy style combining rap and catchy melodies over techno-dance rhythms, the duo sold over 18 million records between 1991 and 1996.

After Ray and Anita left the group in 1996, 2 Unlimited briefly continued with new members, but without the same level of success. In 2012, the original duo reunited for a series of concerts and international festivals, reconnecting with their fan base. Anita left the group permanently in 2016 and was replaced by Kim Vergouwen, then by Michèle Karamat Ali in 2022.

Today, 2 Unlimited continues to perform on the international stage, successfully reviving the iconic 90s eurodance spirit for a loyal and enthusiastic audience.
